حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدِ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ يُقَالُ لَهَا أُمُّ مَعْقِلٍ قَالَتْ أَرَدْتُ الْحَجَّ فَضَلَّ بَعِيرِي فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ اعْتَمِرِي فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حَجَّةً حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ فِيمَنْ رَكِبَ مَعَ مَرْوَانَ حِينَ رَكِبَ إِلَى أُمِّ مَعْقِلٍ قَالَ وَكُنْتُ فِيمَنْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ النَّاسِ مَعَهُ وَسَمِعْتُهَا حِينَ حَدَّثَتْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ أُمِّ مَعْقِلٍ الأَسَدِيَّةِ عَنْ أُمِّ مَعْقِلٍ الْأَسَدِيَّةِ قَالَتْ أَرَدْتُ الْحَجَّ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, he said: Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham, from a woman of Banu Asad ibn Khuzaymah called Umm Ma'qil, she said: "I wished to perform Hajj, but my camel strayed, so I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: 'Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, for an Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to a Hajj.'" Ya'qub told us, he said: my father told us, from Ibn Ishaq, he said: Yahya ibn Abbad ibn Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr told us, from al-Harith ibn Abi Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham, from his father, he said: I was among those who rode with Marwan when he rode to Umm Ma'qil. He said: And I was among those who entered upon her along with him, and I heard her when she narrated this hadith. Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, he said: Hisham told us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Ma'qil ibn Umm Ma'qil al-Asadiyyah, from Umm Ma'qil al-Asadiyyah, she said: I wished to perform Hajj with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and I mentioned that to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) — and he mentioned the like of the hadith of al-Awza'i from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir.
