حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ بُقَيْرَةَ امْرَأَةَ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ أَبِي حَدْرَدٍ تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِجَيْشٍ قَدْ خُسِفَ بِهِ قَرِيبًا فَقَدْ أَظَلَّتْ السَّاعَةُ.
English Translation
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, who said: I heard Buqayrah, the wife of al-Qa'qa' ibn Abi Hadrad, say: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, upon the pulpit saying, "When you hear of an army swallowed up by the earth nearby, then the Hour has cast its shadow."
