حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ قَالَتْ جَاءَ غُلَامُ حَاطِبٍ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَدْخُلُ حَاطِبٌ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَذَبْتَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْحُدَيْبِيَةَ.
English Translation
Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, he said: Za'idah narrated to us, from Sulayman, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, from Umm Mubashshir, she said: The servant boy of Hatib came and said: By Allah, Hatib will never enter Paradise. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: You have lied; he witnessed Badr and al-Hudaybiyah.
