حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا أَوْ زَرَعَ زَرْعًا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ سَبُعٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَيْرٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ.
English Translation
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, from Umm Mubashshir, she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever plants a plant or sows a crop, and a human, a wild animal, or a bird eats from it, it is charity for him.
