حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُؤَدِّي زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُدَّيْنِ مِنْ قَمْحٍ بِالْمُدِّ الَّذِي تَقْتَاتُونَ بِهِ.
English Translation
'Attab narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Nawfal, from Fatimah bint al-Mundhir, from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, she said: We used to pay the charity of Fitr in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as two mudds of wheat by the mudd that you use for your staple food.
