حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَتْ لَهُ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ طَيَالِسَةٍ مَكْفُوفَةٍ بِالدِّيبَاجِ يَلْقَى فِيهَا الْعَدُوَّ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Hajjaj, from Abu 'Umar, the freedman of Asma', from Asma' bint Abi Bakr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had a cloak of Tayalisah cloth trimmed with brocade, which he wore when he met the enemy.
