English Translation
Abd Allah b. Idris told us: Ibn Ishaq told us, from Yahya b. Abbad b. Abd Allah b. al-Zubayr, from his father, that Asma' bint Abi Bakr said: We went out with the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) as pilgrims, until when we were at al-Arj, the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) dismounted. Aishah sat next to the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him), and I sat next to my father. The baggage of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) and the baggage of Abu Bakr were together with Abu Bakr's servant boy. Abu Bakr sat waiting for him to appear, and he appeared without his camel. He said, 'Where is your camel?' He said, 'I lost it last night.' Abu Bakr said, 'One camel and you lose it!' and he began to strike him, while the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled and said, 'Look at this man in ihram and what he is doing.'
