حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ أَفْطَرَ بِعَرَفَةَ أُتِيَ بِرُمَّانٍ فَأَكَلَهُ وَقَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ الْفَضْلِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْطَرَ بِعَرَفَةَ أَتَتْهُ بِلَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَهُ.
English Translation
'Affan told us: Hammad bin Zayd told us: Ayyub told us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that he broke his fast at 'Arafah - he was brought a pomegranate and ate it - and he said: Umm al-Fadl told me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, broke his fast at 'Arafah; she brought him milk and he drank it.
