حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ صَلَاةٌ فِيهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنْ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا مَسْجِدَ الْكَعْبَةِ.
English Translation
Hajjaj bin Muhammad told us: Layth bin Sa'd told us: Nafi' told me, from Ibrahim bin 'Abdullah bin Ma'bad bin 'Abbas, that Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "A prayer in it is better than a thousand prayers in any other of the mosques, except the Mosque of the Ka'bah."
