حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا قَدِمَتْ وَهِيَ مَرِيضَةٌ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ طُوفِي مِنْ وَرَاءِ النَّاسِ وَأَنْتِ رَاكِبَةٌ قَالَتْ فَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ الْكَعْبَةِ يَقْرَأُ بِالطُّورِ قَالَ أَبِي وَقَرَأْتُهُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَتْ فَطُفْتُ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَئِذٍ يُصَلِّي بِجَنْبِ الْبَيْتِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِالطُّورِ وَكِتَابٍ مَسْطُورٍ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman, from Malik, from Abu al-Aswad, from Urwah, from Zaynab bint Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, that she arrived while ill, and mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: "Circle the Ka'bah behind the people, riding." She said: So I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was at the Ka'bah, reciting Surah al-Tur. My father said: And I read it to Abd al-Rahman. She said: So I circled while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was praying at that time beside the House, reciting "By the Mount, and a Book inscribed."
