English Translation
Narrated to us by Waki', who said: Hisham ibn Urwah narrated to us, from his father, from Zaynab bint Umm Salamah, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You bring your disputes to me, but I am only a human being, and perhaps one of you may be more eloquent in presenting his argument than another, so I judge between you according to what I hear. Whoever I have ruled in his favor with something of his brother's right, let him not take it, for I am only cutting off for him a piece of the Fire, which he will bring on the Day of Resurrection."
