حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ خَتَنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَصْلِحِي لَنَا الْمَجْلِسَ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْزِلُ مَلَكٌ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ إِلَيْهَا قَطُّ.
English Translation
Sayyar told us, he said Ja'far - meaning Ibn Sulayman - told us, he said al-Mughirah b. Habib, son-in-law of Malik b. Dinar, told us, he said a shaykh from Madinah told me, from Umm Salamah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Set the gathering in order for us, for an angel is coming down to earth who has never come down to it before."
