حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبِي نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُسَاوِرٌ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ عَنْ أُمِّهِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ تَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لِعَلِيٍّ لَا يُبْغِضُكَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُحِبُّكَ مُنَافِقٌ.
English Translation
'Uthman b. Muhammad b. Abi Shaybah told us - and I also heard it from 'Uthman b. Muhammad myself - he said Muhammad b. Fudayl told us, from 'Abdullah b. 'Abd al-Rahman Abu Nasr, who said Musawir al-Himyari told me, from his mother, who said: I heard Umm Salamah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say to 'Ali, "No believer harbors hatred for you, and no hypocrite loves you."
