حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْ الشَّرِيطَةَ فَإِنَّهَا ذَبِيحَةُ الشَّيْطَانِ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not eat the sharitah (an animal slaughtered improperly, by cutting the skin without severing the throat), for it is the slaughter of the Shaytan.'
