حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ كَالضِّلَعِ إِنْ أَقَمْتَهَا كَسَرْتَهَا وَهِيَ يُسْتَمْتَعُ بِهَا عَلَى عِوَجٍ فِيهَا.
English Translation
Amir ibn Salih told us: Hisham ibn Urwah told me, from his father, from Aisha, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The woman is like a rib; if you try to straighten her, you will break her, and she is enjoyed despite the crookedness in her.
