English Translation
Ya'qub told us: My father told us, from Salih: Ibn Shihab said: Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah told me that Aisha and Abdullah ibn Abbas said: When the illness came down upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he began throwing a cloak over his face, and whenever he felt distressed he would uncover it. He said, while in that state: "The curse of Allah be upon the Jews and the Christians; they took the graves of their prophets as places of worship" - warning them against doing what those had done.
