حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ حِينَ قَالُوا خَشِينَا أَنْ يَكُونَ بِهِ ذَاتُ الْجَنْبِ إِنَّهَا مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ اللَّهُ لِيُسَلِّطَهُ عَلَيَّ.
English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: My father narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn al-Zubayr narrated to me, from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, that Aisha told him that he said, when they said, "We fear that he has pleurisy," "That is from Satan, and God would not empower him over me."
