حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَاعْلَمُوا أَنْ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهَا وَإِنْ قَلَّ.
English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn al-Muttalib narrated to us, from Musa ibn Uqba, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Aisha: that the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Aim for what is right, come close to it, and know that none of you will be admitted to Paradise by his deeds alone, and that the most beloved deeds to God are those most consistently done, even if small."
