حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَجْتَهِدُ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مَا لَا يَجْتَهِدُ فِي غَيْرِهِ.
English Translation
Abu Sa’id told us, Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us, from al-Hasan ibn Ubaydullah, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to strive during the last ten nights of Ramadan as he did not strive at any other time."
