English Translation
Asbat ibn Muhammad told us, Mutarrif told us, from al-Sha’bi, from Masruq, from Aisha, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would spend the night in a state of major impurity, then Bilal would come to him and call him to prayer; he would rise and perform ghusl, and I would watch the water trickling down his hair and skin; then he would go out and I would hear his voice in the Fajr prayer, and then he would remain fasting."
