English Translation
Aisha reported: The sun was eclipsed during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He stood up to pray and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then stood up and prolonged his standing, then bowed and prolonged his bowing, then prostrated, then stood up again in the second rak'ah and did the same. He then said: "The sun and the moon do not eclipse for the death or birth of anyone, but they are two of the signs of Allah. When you see that, then pray."
