حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ سُرِقَتْ مِخْنَقَتِي فَدَعَوْتُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُسَبِّخِي عَلَيْهِ دَعِيهِ بِذَنْبِهِ.
English Translation
Aisha reported: My necklace was stolen, and I cursed the thief. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Do not lighten (his punishment) by cursing him. Leave him with his sin."
