English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Urwah, from Aisha, who said: I used to hear that no prophet dies except that he is given the choice between this world and the hereafter. She said: Then hoarseness afflicted him during his illness in which he died, and I heard him say: {With those whom Allah has favored, of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous - and excellent are those as companions.} So I understood that he had been given the choice.
