English Translation
Yahya and Ibn Ja'far narrated to us, they said: Shu'bah narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us - Ibn Ja'far said, I heard Qatadah - from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Five creatures may be killed by the pilgrim in consecration: the snake, the mouse, the piebald crow, the kite, and the dog." Ibn Ja'far said: "They may be killed both inside and outside the sacred precinct." Hajjaj narrated to us with a hadith identical to that of Ibn Ja'far, saying "the vicious dog," and Ibn Ja'far said "the vicious one."
