حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيُّ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ إِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي قَالَ أَقْرَبُهُمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا.
English Translation
Yahya narrated from Shu'bah, he said: Abu Imran al-Jawni narrated to me from Talha, who said: Aisha said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: 'I have two neighbors; to which of them should I send a gift?' He said: 'Whichever of them has the nearer door to you.'
