English Translation
Yahya narrated from Ubaydullah, he said: I heard al-Qasim ibn Muhammad say: Aisha said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I see nothing but that Safiyyah is holding us back.' He said: 'What is the matter with her?' I said: 'She has begun menstruating.' He said: 'Had she not already performed the tawaf al-ifadah?' I said: 'Yes, but she menstruated afterward.' He said: 'Then there is no restriction upon you.' So he set off with her.
