حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا حِضْتُ يَأْمُرُنِي فَأَتَّزِرُ ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُنِي وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَهُوَ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنَحْنُ جُنُبَانِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُخْرِجُ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيَّ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ.
English Translation
Abd al-Rahman narrated from Sufyan from Mansur from Ibrahim from al-Aswad from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever I menstruated, would order me to wrap a lower garment around myself, then he would embrace me; and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I used to wash from a single vessel while we were both in major ritual impurity; and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would put his head out to me while he was in seclusion, and I would wash it while I was menstruating.
