English Translation
I said to Ibn Abbas: 'We go on military expeditions to the Maghreb, and most of their waterskins — and sometimes Hammad said: most of their waterskins — are made from the hides of dead animals.' He said: 'I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: Tanning it purifies it.'
