حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الضُّحَى يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ قَدْ خَيَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِسَاءَهُ أَفَكَانَ طَلَاقًا.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, Shu'bah told us, from Sulayman, he said: I heard Abu al-Duha narrate, from Masruq, from Aishah, that she said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave his wives the choice, was that a divorce?"
