أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشْتَرَى مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ طَعَامًا فَرَهَنَهُ دِرْعَهُ.
English Translation
Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated: Yahya ibn Zakariyya ibn Abi Za'idah narrated to us, who said: al-A'mash informed us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, bought food from a Jew and pawned his coat of mail to him.
