English Translation
Affan narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us, who said: I heard Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah say: Shaybah al-Khudri narrated to me, that he witnessed Urwah relating to Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, from Aisha: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah, Mighty and Sublime, will not make a man who has a portion in Islam like one who has no portion. He said: And the portions of Islam are fasting, prayer, and charity. Nor will Allah, Mighty and Sublime, take a man as an ally in this world and then give him over to someone else on the Day of Resurrection. Nor does a man love a people but that he will come with them on the Day of Resurrection. He said: And the fourth: Allah, Mighty and Sublime, will not conceal a sin for a servant in this world but that He will conceal it for him in the Hereafter. Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz then said: When you hear a hadith like this from someone like Urwah, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, then preserve it.
