حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ابْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ وَذَكَرَ مِنْ جَمَالِهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنْ النَّسَبِ.
English Translation
Ali mentioned the daughter of Hamzah to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and spoke of her beauty. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'She is the daughter of my brother through breastfeeding.' Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do you not know that Allah the Almighty has forbidden through breastfeeding what He has forbidden through lineage?'
