حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَسْوَدَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ ومَسْرُوقًا يَقُولَانِ نَشْهَدُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدِي فِي يَوْمٍ إِلَّا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ.
English Translation
Affan narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard al-Aswad ibn Yazid and Masruq say: "We bear witness concerning A'ishah that she said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was never with me on any day but that he prayed two rak'ahs after Asr.'"
