حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ } حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ مِنْهَا قَالَ قَدْ سَمَّاهُمْ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ.
English Translation
Affan narrated to us: Hammad narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Abi Mulaykah informed us: al-Qasim ibn Muhammad narrated to me, from A'ishah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recited this verse: {"It is He who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses precise in meaning - they are the foundation of the Book - and others that are unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation..."} Until he finished it, he said: "Allah, Mighty and Sublime, has named them, so when you see them, beware of them."
