حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَبْقَى بَعْدِي مِنْ النُّبُوَّةِ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْمُبَشِّرَاتُ قَالَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الرَّجُلُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ مِنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ حَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ أَمْلَاهُ عَلَيْنَا إِمْلَاءً قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ مِثْلَهُ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Ayyub told us: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi told us, from Hisham ibn Urwa, from his father, from Aisha, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Nothing will remain of prophethood after me except the glad tidings.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, what are the glad tidings?' He said: 'The righteous vision that a man sees, or that is shown to him.' Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I heard this hadith from Yahya ibn Ayyub more than once; Yahya ibn Ayyub dictated it to us, saying: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi told us the same.
