حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ الْحَكَمُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ نَازِلًا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ قَالَ بَهْزٌ إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ النَّخَعِ كَانَ نَازِلًا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَاحْتَلَمَ فَأَبْصَرَتْهُ جَارِيَةٌ لِعَائِشَةَ وَهُوَ يَغْسِلُ أَثَرَ الْجَنَابَةِ مِنْ ثَوْبِهِ أَوْ يَغْسِلُ ثَوْبَهُ قَالَ بَهْزٌ هَكَذَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ فَقَالَتْ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَمَا أَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ أَفْرُكَهُ مِنْ ثَوْبِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَدَّثَنَاه مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ هَمَّامَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ كَانَ نَازِلًا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
English Translation
Affan and Bahz told us: Shu'ba told us: al-Hakam informed me, from Ibrahim, from Hammam ibn al-Harith, that he was a guest staying with Aisha - Bahz said: A man from the Nakha' tribe was staying with Aisha, and he had a wet dream, and a slave-girl of Aisha's saw him washing the trace of major impurity from his garment, or washing his garment - Bahz said this is how Shu'ba said it - so she said: 'I have indeed seen myself not doing more than scraping it off from the garment of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.' Muhammad ibn Ja'far also narrated this to us: Shu'ba told us, from al-Hakam, from Ibrahim, that Hammam ibn al-Harith was staying with Aisha, and he mentioned something similar.
