قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْمُنَادِيَ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ.
English Translation
Affan told us: Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad told us: Amr ibn Maymun ibn Mihran told me: My father informed me: Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he heard the caller to prayer, would say: 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.'
