English Translation
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us: Muhammad ibn Mihzam told us: Karimah bint Hammam told me, who said: I entered the Sacred Mosque, and they cleared it for A'ishah. A woman asked her, "What do you say, O Mother of the Believers, about henna?" She said, "My beloved (peace and blessings be upon him) liked its color but disliked its smell, and it is not forbidden for you between every two menstrual periods, or at every menstrual period."
