حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ سَبَلَانَ قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ عَائِشَةَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ قَالَ وَكَانَتْ تَخْرُجُ بِأَبِي يَحْيَى التَّيْمِيِّ يُصَلِّي بِهَا قَالَ فَأَدْرَكَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ فَأَسَاءَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ الْوُضُوءَ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ يَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ أَسْبِغْ الْوُضُوءَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ النَّارِ.
English Translation
Husayn told us: Ibn Abi Dhi'b informed us, from Imran ibn Bashir, from Salim Sablan, who said: We went out with A'ishah to Mecca. He said: She used to have Abu Yahya al-Taymi go out and lead her in prayer. He said: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq caught up with us, and Abd al-Rahman performed his ablution poorly. A'ishah said, "O Abd al-Rahman, perform the ablution thoroughly, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Woe to the heels from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.'"
