حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مِنْ كُلِّ اللَّيْلِ قَدْ أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ أَوَّلِهِ وَأَوْسَطِهِ وَآخِرِهِ فَانْتَهَى وِتْرُهُ إِلَى السَّحَرِ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us: Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu al-Duha, from Masruq, from A'ishah, who said: on every night of the month the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed the witr - in its early part, its middle part, and its later part - and his witr came finally to rest toward the end of the night before dawn.
