English Translation
Mu'ammal told us: Hammad told us, from Thabit, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from his maternal uncle, from A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, who said: they complained to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, of the whisperings they experienced, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we find within ourselves something that, were one of us to fall from the sky, would be more preferable to him than to speak it aloud." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "That is pure faith."
