حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قِيلَ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصْنَعُ فِي بَيْتِهِ قَالَتْ كَمَا يَصْنَعُ أَحَدُكُمْ يَخْصِفُ نَعْلَهُ وَيُرَقِّعُ ثَوْبَهُ.
English Translation
Mu'ammal told us: Sufyan told us, from Hisham, from his father, who said: it was said to A'ishah: "What did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, use to do in his house?" She said: "As one of you would do - he would mend his sandal and patch his garment."
