حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ أَبُو قُدَامَةَ الْعُمَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنَا عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أُمِّ ذَرَّةَ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ تُصَلِّي الضُّحَى وَتَقُولُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي إِلَّا أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ.
English Translation
Abu Sa'id told us: Uthman ibn Abd al-Malik Abu Qudamah al-Umari told us: A'ishah bint Sa'd told us, from Umm Dharrah, who said: I saw A'ishah pray the mid-morning prayer, saying: "I never saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, pray it except as four rak'ahs."
