English Translation
Abd al-Wahhab al-Khaffaf told us, saying Sulayman al-Taymi informed us, saying Umaynah told me, from Aisha, that she was asked about nabidh made in earthenware jars, and she said: Is it too much for one of you to make, from the skin of her sacrificial animal, a water-skin? Then she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade -- or prohibited -- nabidh made in earthenware jars, and such-and-such -- Sulayman forgot it.
