حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَيُدْرِكُ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَاتِ قَائِمِ اللَّيْلِ صَائِمِ النَّهَارِ.
English Translation
Hashim bin al-Qasim told us, saying Layth told us, from Yazid bin Abdullah bin Usamah, from Amr bin Abi Amr, from al-Muttalib, from Aisha, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: Indeed the believer attains, through good character, the ranks of one who stands in prayer at night and fasts during the day.
