حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعَيْبٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا عَائِشُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ فَقَالَتْ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ قَالَتْ وَهُوَ يَرَى مَا لَا نَرَى.
English Translation
Abu al-Yaman told us: Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman told me that A'isha, wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O A'ish, this is Jibril, peace be upon him, and he sends you his greeting of peace." She said: "And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah." She said: And he sees what we do not see.
