حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي عَمْرَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ الْعَدَوِيَّةُ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَارُّ مِنْ الطَّاعُونِ كَالْفَارِّ مِنْ الزَّحْفِ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us: Ja'far ibn Kaysan told us: Amrah bint Qays al-Adawiyyah told me: I heard A'isha say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who flees from the plague is like the one who flees from the battle line."
