حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَعْقِلٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُنْتَبَذَ فِي الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ.
English Translation
Hashim told us: Shayban told us, from al-Ash'ath, who said: Abdullah ibn Ma'qil al-Muharibi told me: I heard A'isha say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade making nabidh (a fermented drink) in gourd vessels, glazed pottery jars, and pitch-coated vessels.
