حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِسَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ وَهُوَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فَيَمْسَحُ بِهِ وَجْهَهُ وَيَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ.
English Translation
Al-Khuza'i narrated to us, he said: Layth informed us, from Yazid ibn al-Had, from Musa ibn Sarjis, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from Aishah, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, as he was dying, with a vessel of water beside him, and he would put his hand into it and wipe his face with it, saying, "O Allah, help me through the throes of death."
