حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَرْجِسَ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ فَيُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ.
English Translation
Aisha said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) as he was dying. He had a cup of water by him. He would put his hand in the cup and then wipe his face with the water, saying: 'O Allah, help me through the agonies of death.'"
